CARING FOR THE GARDEN

Many enjoy visiting our Meditation Garden.  Strolling through the area and reflecting upon God’s gracious love can be a spiritually uplifting experience.  Naturally, it is important that the garden be kept tidy and neat at all times.  Thanks to a conscientious group of “Garden Keepers,” the garden is kept in fine shape.

On an assigned schedule, the “garden keepers” visit the garden and make sure all is in good order.  We are deeply grateful to those who have graciously volunteered to serve in this meaningful way.  We say a word of gratitude to the following “Garden Keepers”:

Bruce Beaver Dorothy Berry

Marj Kirchner

Dr. Charles Topp
Jane Huff Margo Eagleton

Judy & Bruce Donaldson

A  THOUGHTFUL  GIFT

The following cordial note was recently received from Mr. William Rex, Treasurer of the St. Armands Residents Association:

 Dear Pastor Wogen,

On behalf of St. Armands Residents  Association, enclosed is a small sum from our “Mary Huettner Tree Fund” for your garden on the corner.  It is truly a welcome asset to the Key!

                        Sincerely,

William Rex, Treasurer

The thoughtful gift received from the Association will be used for the garden, as requested. We are grateful to the Association for their kind gesture.
